It was first dealt with in Homer’s Odyssey in which the hero strives to get to Ithaca after years of hardship. Odysseus even rejected immortality for the sake of his nostos – the longing of return to where his heart was! Hence comes Nostalgia – a compound of nostos and algos (ache) – the sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time. Inspired by Homer and his hero, we created Nostos, aiming to provide our guests with the best of memories, so as to have them feeling immense desire to relive those happy moments of the past to a happy place … Our place … NOSTOS!
